I should know this, so apoligies in advance: What year is the "American Violence" 1/24 Trans Am by Otaki?
I'm thinking '86. *NM*
1974 *NM*
Well, I was ONLY 12 years off. Actually got that number on-line, so I guess you can't believe everything you see on line. And I thought you could! *NM*
There's an old meme attributed to Abraham Lincoln warning about believing facts on the internet *NM*
Jeez...I didn't realize there was an internet back then!! *NM*
It was steam powered 😁😁😁😁 *NM*

Kevin's 75 is really well done, as usual. *NM*
Yea, that's exactly what we were joking about. Bob and Kevin were [are?] associates. *NM*
He does all the hard work, I do all the kibitzing
What was the american violence series supposed to be? A road warrior thing or something else ? *NM*
Home market Japanese release of the kit... it had a tack on supercharger and the Otaki custom wheel tire package inside *LINK*
Ibuilt a kitbash of the Otaki Trans Am years ago (kept the Otaki body and honeycomb wheels, used the Monogram '78 kit for everything else)
So American violence was American muscle cars with a blower? *NM*
Yeah, pretty much. And the custom wheels... *NM*
And the translation that was *this close* to saying what they meant to say... lol *NM*
