They would probably have to partner up with one of the big boys. I wish Round 2 was interested. They could do the distribution and licensing. *NM*

But - you need to have production facilities, packaging, distribution, licensing, etc.

In the recent past there were rumors of this (JoHan) and Powell Pickup in 1/25 scale. Anything new?-----PIC
I'd be happy to have any original JoHan reissue let alone new tooling but I think pigs will fly 1st. *NM*
They could clone them like Round2 has been recently doing with their old kits. It CAN be done. *NM*

R2 needs to concentrate on subjects with a high probablity of commercial success in the wider hobby world
I spent two days with the new Jo-Han group........what you need to know??? *NM*

Resin and 3D for now..............thx *NM*
“For now”… does that mean their long term plan involves styrene kits? *NM*
My meeting with the Jo-Han guys.......
Bear in mind the Powell truck was to be produced by Okey Spalding's "Jo-Han". The new outfit trading under a similar name is not related. *NM*
Personally, I would've thought thst the number of model builders who would be interested in a kit of the Powell pickup. would be below a couple thousand or so....but what do I know?
That stuff is 3D print...get an order for one, they make one...
That list is from Too Many Projects (Robert Burns). His 3D prints are really nice. *NM*
Scott, does he have a site I could look at? *NM*
No. He posts on Facebook under "Too Many Projects". Also posts some things on eBay as modelerrob *NM*
I love the big full-sized C-body’s from the mid ‘70’s by GM. The problem is most 3D printer’s can’t do the front windshield opening correctly. Johan was the only one to get it right followed by MPC with their Impala/Caprice. I still liked Johan better *NM*
Exactly! ,, and I'm yet to see someone do a boat tail Riviera that looks "right". They never get the roof/ rear window/ rear 1/4 panels right. Not even Modelhaus. *NM*
This was posted at the MCM forum last year. Never heard any update as far as I can remember. *NM* *PIC*
3D print...one goes missing, you print another one. I'm not seeing why one going missing would have any effect in the long term *NM*
If you still owe money on the first, you probably aren't getting the second *NM*
How much could that be? Get a loan perhaps? You can make it up through sales when production begins. If there is a will, there’s a way. *NM*
