• It's me again! I need some recommendations for skirts. Not for me, for the Fleetline I'm building. Do you guys have a resource for the styling of them? I'd like to mimic the modified quarters I built for this project...... *PIC*
  • I used a pair of ModelHaus resin '49 Caddy rear fenders on this build. *NM* *PIC*
  • SteveO, I'd just allow the rear wheel arch to show thru, with a slight raised area at the bottom edge of the area where you have that piece of extra strip, otherwise any extra molding will be in conflict with the "Buick" styled molding,btw the Corvette rear clip is great. *NM*
  • As for a "resource",contact/search for Rik Hoving,hes a Dutch guy who has a custom car website/history site & worked with the late Pat Ganahl regarding custom cars,their styling & restoration,he may have some ideas or suggestions,but I'd be leaving it pretty much as is,lol. *NM*
  • A flush fender skirt would allow the clean lines you have created to be smooth. Just scribe the stock wheel opening line and remove the bar at the bottom edge to carry the lower line profile tof the skirt to blend with fender shape. Let the side trim piece and the paint be
