No dispute to how well it looks when properly applied, however, this need special handling as it is extremely hazardous, and its use shouldn't be taken lightly. *NM*

Under the right light, here is why I've switched exclusively to automotive 2k clear though my airbrush..... *PIC*
Super nice!! *NM*
One of the nicest black finishes I've seen. *NM*
Oh man, that is nice!! *NM*
Re:I've used Splash paints 2K clear and it's great stuff!! *NM*
Did you pour water over that? WOW and HMMMM *NM*
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! *NM*
Holy cow that finish and black looks so deep. I am gonna have to try the 2K clear now. *NM*
WOW!! *NM*
That's beautiful! I know nothing about 2k clear but sure does shine. Is it a 2 part clear? *NM*
It's the same clear coat that's used if your car goes in for body repairs. It's 4 parts clear coat, one part activator. *NM*

What Len said....do some research and be aware of the proper requirements (including professional body shop level equipment and apparel and fresh air respirator/supply) before using 2K Clears....thanks...TB *NM*
With all dur respect guys, your giving advice to a guy who ran body shops for the better part of two decades. '-)) *NM*
True...but others looking at all this might just dive in without getting the right equipment, and do a lot of damage before realizing it *NM*
Yea, I knew someone would come back with that as soon as I made the post. *NM*
Glad to hear Steve-O has the professional bodyshop gear, and that paint job is truly gorgeous. But my concern is most modelers using 2K do not have that equipment and are not aware of the health risks. My point is do the reseach, then make your own informed decision. TB *NM*
True, it's always best to know your product and take proper safety measures when using it but the original posts looked TO ME like they were specifically directed at Steve, not the board in general. I should have said nothing as I was wrong. I apologies to the board. *NM*
Actually, Steve, you have nothing for which to apologize. Your post could be received both ways--neither of which should be taken as scolding/criticism. (God bless communication w/o seeing/hearing either party.) *NM*
Anything with a catalyst, you need the MSDS sheet first. Read it and make sure you are handling properly, it's not worth your life
This is true of most paints. You guys ever use laquer? Ever get laquer thinner on your skin? It's all bad. However, some products such as 2k clear are worth the extra effort. *NM*
Even living is bad. To live means you will die. Life is a death sentence. lol! *NM*
