The side panel of the Box art caught my attention on the AMT 68 Corvette Custom..... *PIC*
The kit does have possibilitys for a fun build. The mismatched seats and fender flares are from when it was the Greenwood GT Vette in the early '70s and the wheels are from a drag version [AC-cellerator?] , , ,
LOL, pretty bad when the best thing someone can say about a model is the blacked out taillight panel! Jeez....just kiddin. *NM*
Well, I did say a bit more then that. , , "Your build looks pretty cool though, ready for the track. I really like the black tail panel" *NM*

The chassis and engine in that kit have their beginnings in the '63 Corvette convertible annual kit. The convertible and fastback were separate tools '63 through '67. The current '63 convertible is based on the coupe *NM*
I like what you did with this! It is indeed, a terrible kit, but you made it look as good as it probably can! I bought one and very much regret it, not even any really decent parts in it. *NM*
LOL, Yeah, it's a strange model.
AMT got that one out as the '68 annual in order to get a Corvette kit into stores. MPC did the promo that year, AMT did not get access to any info. AMT then got their hands on an actual car and tooled a much better Corvette as a '69 kit *NM*
I think all the amt 68 annuals were custom 67’s if i am not mistaken and could not be built stock. I did see a nice build up of this on happy guys youtube channel. *NM*
Not all, only a few *NM*
GM annuals, for the most part. The relationship was up and down at the time... *NM*
Oh man I love this!!! *NM*
I'd give it an A+ in the beasty-look dept. It's actually very interesting look. Nice job. *NM*
