Sorta OT, but car related...my Model A hot rod has Lincoln front brakes, and needs new shoes. Anybody have a clue as to what year brakes guys were using? They look a lot like the brakes on the 9" rear. *NM*

Take some pictures and look for a pre-'49 forum, or maybe the H.A.M.B...
A trick from one of the Pontiac forums - get your original shoes re-lined by a company that does industrial work for forklifts, hi-los, etc
The early Ford stuff can be had from someone updating a build...
Agree - most of the early Ford stuff is fine when properly refurbished
Jim.......I could be wrong but I recall either in print somehwere or on the HAMB that a company called Wilson Bros or similar were doing Lincoln brakes or parts thereof..as suggested have you tried on the HAMB yet?. *NM*
