The beauty of electricity is that it can be generated through more than one source. Gasoline? Not so much. Also, do you think about how much fuel is burned or energy is required just to pump raw petroleum, refine it and transport the finished fuel to your gas station?

Coal power is on its way out. Mining is winding down, in the US as well as in Europe. Museums running steam locomotives are now looking at alternative fuels before their supply runs out.

I'm sick of smug anti-EV comments like yours, no doubt circulated by the petroleum lobby. I've dropped out of Facebook groups due to the constant barrage of misinformation aimed at EVs.

There's more to the car hobby than gas guzzlers. I'm interested in the development of automotive technology since the horse age. Gas, Stanley steamer or electric, it's all good as far as I'm concerned.
