'32 Chevy delivery engine,,, [PICS]
Re: great idea *NM*
LOVE IT!!! *NM*
I couldn't tell from your pictures but I presume the carburetor is oriented the proper way... *PIC*
I really can't tell either Raymond. Doesn't matter to me though as you can't see much of it under the air cleaner anyway. *NM*
Chief Pontiac says oh, heck yes!!!
Love it! Perfect choice. *NM*
Good choice . Over time I have purchased more than a dozen 69 Firebirds to get the OHC-6 . One is slated for my 37 Chevy Cabriolet rat rod....some day. *NM*
If you want a break from buying '69 Firebirds...it's also available in the MPC '69 Camaro SS. *NM*
I don't think the six is in any of the convertible issues (or the recent Yenko coupe), only the early Eighties black coupe *NM*
I had the '80s convertible molded in orange, no 6 in that one. *NM*
Yes, that's what I have. *NM*
...and Daytona Transporter. *NM*
Might be a good idea to learn basic resin casting - or to beg a 3D company to find and scale a Sprint - 6 *NM*
I'm still waiting for the experimental engines: Bunkie's Pontiac OHC V8,, the late Sixties Olds Hemi, Chrysler Ball-Stud Hemi, and so on... *NM*
Right on... agree 100X *NM*
I've asked Charles who runs Texas 3D Customs. He offers some great powerplants with interesting options and excellent detail. He said he's considering an OHC six if he can find a good one to scan. *NM*
I don't know if it's in his current price list, but Norm Veber used to offer one in resin that was an improved version of the MPC kit engine.. *NM*
Bob, the Pontiac-Oakland club has a chapter devoted to the OHC6. That might be a good place to start. JIM *NM*
