I'm getting ready to use Meguiars Scratch X 2.0 after wet sanding. I'm applying it by hand. Should I use it in a circular motion or back and forth? Is it possible to apply it with too much pressure, or should I use a light touch ? *NM*

What are you polishing? if it's "glass" be REAL careful, as it easily develops stress racks. *NM*

Scratch X or any other polishing compound is by nature, a polishing medium. There should be no need to use force, let it do it's job. If it's not doing what you need it to, you'll need either a polish with more or less abrasive, as appropriate *NM*
Wouldn't do anything different than any other polish... I really like the stuff, esp for a lacquer job
That's my Go-To for bodies. Tamiya wax for windows. *NM*
There's a very good builder who posted here a few times, but sticks mostly to FB who uses it on all of his builds - paint with something in Tamiya that is close to the factory color then hit it with the polish *NM*
