I have yet to grok it, but I'd be very surprised if the AMT (or MPC Flip Nose) cabs didn't just plop on the Revell chassis *NM*

Only about 1.3 cents.........must admit that I'm not a fan of the 56 F100 style, I prefer the 53-55 angled pillar design, but will look at getting this kit myself. *NM*

Is the Foose 56 F100 the old opening door kit or is it a newer tool?......thanks. *NM*
NEW. *NM*
All new tool. But it can't be built stock without some serious body work. *NM*
I know they chopped the roof in weird way above the drip rails... Will the '53 AMT or old Revell '56 hoods fit? Didn't they pie cut the Foose hood? Then there's the wheel openings in the front fenders... All I ever wanted was a stock iconic '56 F100... *NM*
Thanks, I thought it was new but unsure, a mate has just bought it will let him know its not the old open door kit, he'll be pleased. *NM*
Not sure what $0.02 cents is down in OZ, but... this is a terrific kit

Randy Meyer grafted the Foose 56 roof onto the AMT 53 with some pretty nice results. Maybe Randy can share some pics. *NM*
Here's how I did the conversion and some pix of the results. *PIX* and *LINK*
Kids, this is why it is called modeling. Great work, Ken! I want to do that with some that I've hoarded now - just need a few of those 223-262 inlines you useta cast. *NM*
Coming from you that's a great compliment. Thanks *NM*
Ken, is the big rear window an available conversion?....a mate built a 1:1 54 F100 with a big window conversion, Quad Cam Oz Falcon V8, independant front & rear ends & Falcon interior, the big window might inspire him to model his car. *NM*
Andy, the easiest way to make a big window conversion in scale for a 54 cab would be to mate the back of the Foose cab to the AMT 53 front half. *NM*
Since I don't usually un-customize, I started a few years go with the old-tool Revell '56 and AMT '53 rear fenders.---------PICS----------
Oops!! Should say AMT rear fenders and bed. *NM*
Don't know if those are the same truck....but I like the first pic the best. *NM*
To me, that's one of the most realistic weathering jobs I've ever seen. *NM*
Okay, I've officially been Euchred - is the first pic a kit or 1:1???? *NM*
C'mon guys, 1st pic was the real thing. Next 2 just some base color to get things started. First photo here (original Revell) visually shows why I used AMT bed & fenders. Last PICS I promise.----MORE PICS----
