Monogram "Forty-niner." Pretty nice kit for 49 cents. *NM*
OK, thanks, yeah I think its cool, but I paid a bit more than .49 cents for mine.... : ) *NM*
Here's the Monogram original.---PICS----
Scales in fairly close to 1/25, making it ripe for enhancement
Thanks for the tip on the gopher parts, that's good to know. I kind of like it the way it is, but was wondering about improving the wheels. *NM*
I swapped a set of dragster wire wheels and the motor from the Tony Nancy kit for my build. *NM* *PIC*
I like it! I noticed the decals are included to do the Californian , The wheels and the headers...... *PIC*
Annnnd boom goes the dynamite! Great pic! *NM*
The Atlantis Fiat kit might be the way to go if one is looking to detail it. The Fiat has spare motors, wheels, driveline and chassis parts. It's basically a collection of parts packs. about the only thing you'd need is another set of slicks as the Fiat only has one pair.
I bought both at the same time at the LHS with that outcome in mind, have lots of Revell kit bits but never actually FINISHED one, looking forward to that accomplishment!
