• How well do kits with cardboard displays sell? Like the Revell Rat Fink Diorama? Or the AMT Meyers Manx with diorama? Was just wondering how well they sold for the model kit companies. *NM*
  • I don't think Highway Scenes did very well for Rev-Mon. *NM*
    • When I had the shop I had both the Talladega & 37 Tudor as these 2 kits wern't available separately but the H'way scenes kits were dearer & didn't sell as well as other Revogram kits. *NM*
    • Some of those are huge. I bought (among others) the Deuce roadster with the McDonald's diorama...ultimately kept only the sign.
      • My built collection is strictly vehicles, do have a few 1/24ish characters. *NM*
        • I like the rarity factor. Often when original kits turn up, they are in mint unbuilt condition but the display is missing. Same goes for the AMT kits that had records included *NM*
          • The Talladega I have was like that *NM*
  • I'd be curious about this one. Can't imagine selling well. I have various MPC Jeep kits because I like them. This one I bought at a show (I knew what I was getting) for $5 because wheels were missing.....PIC
