AMT was going for realism - the bottom of the interior tub would sit in the opening
BTW Bob, I did try the '71 chassis yesterday. Not a "drop in" as the front and rear pans are attached to it. After they were removed it still didn't go right up. I suspect it would with some trimming of the drive shaft hump though. *NM*
Needs some Dremelation, IIRC and lowering of the front end *NM*
Whoops - thought we were talking Cougars, but yes it is not a drop fit even tho 1:1's were the same
