I got a few Japanese brass locos from my Father in law

All look great.....a few run well.......but looks was the priority in early 60's. One is a PFM which was a huge importer.

- I got a few Japanese brass locos from my Father in law
  - I bet few got painted by their owners. *NM*
    - Some did......I painted a PRR K4 for my father in law.......
- I think deep down inside every model railroader wishes he could scratchbuild a locomotive. *NM*
  - Judging by books from the 1950s or '60s it would appear one could. I'd love to build a 4-4-0 in 0 Gauge, but even assembling one from cast brass detail parts seems a bit daunting. *NM*
