Yeah, I had suspected the modem from the beginning, since the cable and phone were not effected. My buddy walked me through what I needed to do, over the phone... Surprisingly simple actually....

I suspect that the guy that Xfinity sent over the other day either didn't know what he was doing, or just didn't want to do it.... Either way I have notified Xfinity of my displeasure.
