In Response To: It's all about the tool. You need a GOOD double flare tool. Harbor Fright will not do it. Get one made by Lisle, Ridgid, or Snap-On. I bought a lot of Snap-On stuff 20-30 years ago and it's usually worth the money. Also, do not try to flare S/S hard lines. The material is ()

Clamp type. Are you talking the $150 unit?? That is more than buying premade lines. I am using the steel coated lines to practice right now. I am going to try a few more......if I can't get it I go to premade lines. Thanks for input!
