Could someone please explain the front coilovers on this Fad-T? *PIC*
They are just like any other coil-over, except mounted sideways, and actuated by a series of levers. Not exactly a common setup, but that's not the only car built that way.

F1 cars mount them horizontal. *NM* *PIC*
Think that T bucket front suspension style was popularised by Dan Woods in his original "Leg Show" cut down bucket from the early/mid 70's, the bracketry is known as a "bell crank" & is common on F1 suspensions & various crossram carby linkages. *NM*
Here is another one. *NM* *PIC*
Seems like full compression on one front wheel would move car sideways no? I guess not but Formula 1 cars don't deal with potholes. *NM*
If the springs touched each other, perhaps. But the springs act independently. The center piece between them does not move on this blue car , nor are the inboard ends connected together on the F1 car *NM*
Ahhh I see said the blind man. *NM*
