- 21 months total, in Japan Yokosuka, Kobe and Sasebo, mostly. 99% of the "locals" wore masks. I learned their language(enough to "get by"),customs, and "culture". 360 yen to a dollar!! I asked a "Mama-san"(who ran a nightclub) why all the masks? Her answer: "Curtousy"(sp?) *NM*
