Wow! I can't believe I found a photo of a car like one that I owned. *PIC*

My Gold Duster had identical beige color, brown stripe, and that genuine vinyl snakeskin roof! That was weird. Mine had plain wheel covers, and a slant-six.
I owned it for one winter in the late '80s. I don't think I paid more than $200 for it. It was a beater. Bought it as a winter car (my "good" car was a '77 Camaro did not drive in the salty season).
Funny story is that the upper rear shock mounts ripped out of the trunk floor. I had them brazed back, but as expected, that didn't hold very long. So for a while I drove it with no rear shocks. It made for a very amusing ride. It ended up in a junk yard in the Spring when I took my Camaro out of the garage, but I took the emblem off the trunk lid (I still have it).

Since it was a disposable car, I never took any photos of it.
