Got another question for the light commercial/trucks folks. Working on a 1962 Chevrolet School bus hauler project, it had the 409 (truck version) in it but trying to determine what kinda transmission would have been tied to it (believe it was a manual) and what kit sourced
AMT '71 Blazer/GMC Jimmy unit might work, it looks like a "medium commercial" piece *NM*
Thanks Mark *NM*

Sounds like a very intriguing project. Would love to see some pics! *NM*
I’ve been kind of low-key about it, but it’s the stock car hauler the team my family sponsored/crewed for when I was a kid, been 40 years in my wanna build brain, pics are scarce but this is shot of the 1:1 *NM* *PIC*
And here’s where I’m at with it , still lots to go *NM* *PIC*
Thats a cool project :-) *NM*
Sweet! *NM*
Did your family's team build it? Great conversion. Have you built any models of the cars they ran to go with it? *NM*
Yes, my uncles and cousin did the conversion of the bus, I’ve built a couple of his earlier rides, and I’m working on one of my favs right now will post some pics when it’s further along but this is what the 1:1 looked like *NM* *PIC*
