    • IMHO - It's really not the product, it's the process - technique, practiced application, effort. It's just like paint - same product can result in a glassy smooth, perfect finish or orange peel. Same product, different execution. *NM*
      • Best approach (IMHO) is to start with the tougher parts first (corners, recesses, molded-in windshield wipers) then do the easy stuff. And, put the thing down and come back later if you start rushing the work *NM*

  • Does anybody know what kit has the intake/manifold that is on the dark blue Shelby GT350? I've seen it on several models but haven't found the kit it comes from, yet. *NM*
    • Real hard to see exactly what it is. Is it 4 Webers on a small block Ford? I might have one in resin. LMK if that is what you are looking for. *NM*
    • Where is the pic you refer to?.......AMT's 289 Cobra has a quad Weber intake & carbs as has the IMC/Testors/Lindberg Cougar 11. *NM*

      • Yes the AMT Cobra and Cougar ll are the only kits I could find with the arrangement in photo. The original AMT '66 Mustang GT had 4 webers arranged differently. *NM*
        • The Sunny Cobra also has Weber arrangement like the photo. There are probably 3D or resin examples also available. *NM*
        • Webers on SBFords are arranged along the intake not across as is sometimes modelled which(across) is how Ferrari uses the Weber setup. *NM*

      • That was a '68 and the front bumper/hood/grille was too flat, definitely not this model. I'd say this is one of the prints I've been seeing. They're '69s and pretty accurate. *NM*

          • It is a Skylark, but what I was trying to say is that there are details on the model in the photos that are different from details on the one offered by Star. Not disputing anything, FWIW, just wanting to learn more about 3D print/resin models of subjects like this.
