I wanted to use that new Duplicolor 1K Clear on a build. The build has some areas that will be color and some a semi gloss black. I decided to test first. Found out you CAN NOT spray either Tamiya or acrylic lacquer over this clear. The semi gloss paint wrinkled up BAD. Same thing happened with the Gundam chrome marker. I was also testing to see if you could mask over that clear with any ill affects. No problem there. The clear goes over Tamiya and acrylic lacquer with no problems. I have not tried any kind of enamel or acrylic paint over the clear.
