I wouldn't scrap it. Since you're painting with flats, there's a lot you can do with that truck cab.

If it's supposed to be UPS brown, then it's okay. Otherwise, adding some color might be the way to go with that. Dab little spots of rubber cement around the sides and top as a mask, then do a little light painting. When that dries, rub off the rubber cement to expose irregular rusty brown, primer, and metal areas.

Something with this variation is much more pleasing to look at.
