FWIW, Slixx decals suggest that you do NOT use Tamiya clear as there have been some issues with it in the past. *NM*

I've been using Tamiya clear sprays--all 3 of them--for years over a variety of kit & aftermarket decals--light mist coats every 15 - 20 minutes. No problems yet. (FWIW, do NOT try Gunze clears--eats decals as you spray!) *NM*

What kind of spray do I use on decals to keep them from cracking apart when applying them? TIA *NM*
Brush on Liquid Decal Film. It's great stuff. *NM* *PIC*

Good to know, Crime Dog. Haven't used Slixx decals. Thanks so much for the warning. *NM*
All the suggested or possible clear "paints" add stifness/thickness to the decals, making them more difficult to apply. Also acts as a barrier to any setting solutions you might want to use. If you use the Badger film I suggested above, you won't have any of thses problems. *NM*
