I have been converting a 1:43 scale diecast 1946 Chrysler into a railroad track inspection car. The diecast was one I'd had since the 1980s or '90s, and was made by Solido. The interior was basic and incomplete. It had no door panels or rear floor or seat back. These I made out of styrene. While I was at it, I opened up the rear window. I cut a hole in the chassis (cast metal) with a Tamiya saw, and fitted an AutoWorld slot car chassis to motorize the car to run on 2-rail 0 Gauge track. The motor barely fits under the floor. I will eventually epoxy cast the four crew members.
