What Terry said. But the last thing you need to do is dip the windshield in Future to make it crystal clear. *NM*
Also, I suggest you tape off all parts of the windshield that you are not actually sanding on. *NM*
Yep, good point. One other mention, “glass” tends to be more brittle than other plastic parts so go lightly and try not to flex it to prevent it from cracking *NM*
Are you working on the old 1980's issue AMT '68 Camaro Z/28 by chance? I know the early kits had the wipers molded onto the windshield. *NM*
Rear view mirror, not wipers. That kit was tooled by Lesney, the "mirror inside the windshield" worked for Matchbox cars but wasn't so great on kits *NM*

No it's an early 70s Monte Carlo Saico diecast. The entire roof, windshield and rear window are molded together. *NM*
