Yes that's why I reacted, I know Toyota is very protective of their trade mark. *NM*

I see Salvinos has a Toyota Nascar kit now, Does it have a Toyota engine or their Chevy V8? *NM*
Same engine as other kits....... *NM*
How different are they in reality? None of them have any connection with anything ever used in any vehicle they have ever sold to the public *NM*
Agreed.....with the covers over the engines differences are hard to see.......BUT....at least MPC had different heads and valve covers for each make!! *NM*
Much like the Salvino's modifieds, the engines are pretty generic. Actually, the ones in the modifieds are very poorly done IMHO. There was never a GM engine that had equally-spaced intake ports and the old SBC-style siamesed exhaust ports. It's a physical impossibility. *NM*
Well the Chevrolet R07 they use in NASCAR Cup has individual exhaust ports...

But is it even a "Chevy" engine? *NM*
Close to one....more than others *NM*
It's supposed to be a R07 engine...but if the R07 really is a Chevy is questionable as it's not available in any Chevrolet cars that can be bought from the showroom floor.. *NM*

Other than valve covers, there is little to distinguish Ford/GM/Toyota NASCAR engines. However, it is very difficult to find decent pictures of whatever they are currently running. It's getting to be more like F1 where you never really see the engines. *NM*
THere is no problem to find pictures if you know what you are looking for...
