• Some comparison pics between an original MPC 68 GTO and the new release GTO. Draw your own conclusions but I think the new one is a much better kit than the old one. (PICS)
  • Interesting comparison Robert. Strange how much longer the old hood is than the new. The interior panels look better in the old one with better detail. I will get at least one or two. I have a few old built ups that need resto help so perhaps I'll get one kit just for parts. *NM*
    • I wonder if the hood lengths are different because of the old hood having "hinges" molded to it. Thus causing an optical illusion with the back of the hood propped up closer to the camera. *NM*

    • No, just the new 68 kit. Thre is a lot of cleanup to do on the MPC version so I'm saving it, for later. *NM*
  • Thanks for the comparo pics! I wish the rim lip edge on the Rally II wheels were better rendered like the original. Also, no locator tabs for the interior/glass kinda sucks, but I’m nitpicking here. *NM*
