Revell 1969 Camaro ZL-1. I built this as a replica of COPO 9560AA #30 for "Dream Car" night at our local model car club.. The paint is Testors Hugger Orange with a clear coat.

There were a number of things that needed correction to make an accurate model. The main thing was the exhaust. The kit has hearers and chambered exhaust. All of the COPO 9560 cars had exhaust manifolds and only one had chambered exhaust. I sourced the exhaust system from the Revell Nova kit. I also used that engine because of the one piece oil pan. I also made the steering poseable.

The real #30 along with #18 sold as a pair for $1,210,000.00 at the Mecum Auction in Kissimmee, Florida in 2018.
