Question: What is a wax picking pencil for? *NM*
Like a stick of beeswax? If that's it, it's a great way to pick up really tiny parts. You know, the ones that fly away when you try to use tweezers? *NM*
For attaching small parts of all kinds. For more precise placement - because tweezers partly block the view of your small part (and can send your part into oblivion). Gravity becomes your friend. *NM*

Your ears? *NM*
Thanks for your adult answers, Bill & John. Doesn't it leave a waxy residue on the part, though? *NM*
Not that I've noticed. You're relying on the very light stickiness of the wax only. *NM*
Yes, but it comes off with a tissue or soft cloth. Beeswax is very soft and comes off easily. *NM*
Thanks, John & Bill. Gotta get some. (Probably got enough $$ in fiddlety-bits launched into space to pay off the mortgage.) *NM*
LOL! I think the carpet monster is still digesting some of mine. *NM*
