  • Nice ! I am adding a resin Ford Cobra engine to a Fairlane. It was printed as one piece but strangely didn't have a belt around the accessory pullys LOL ---

  • I've printed quite a few 3D parts and never got all those pimples/blisters all over them. Looks really bad/sloppy, if you ask me. Lots of prep work required there. *NM*
    • Are those blisters bolt heads? I don't know GM engines so I don't know if they have those bolts or not. *NM*

      • I'm late to this discussion but it appears that the blister/dimple question hasn't been answered. Those are the attachment points for the printing process to the base....PIC
        • I must be spoiled, because all the parts I have designed/bought from Shapeways are always pristine with no bumps. I would not expect that much cleanup to be needed, especially at the prices these guys charge. *NM*
        • Yes, I was lazy and did not clean up the parts very well. Needless to say I have addressed those areas that are visisble. *NM*
  • Love his stuff, have a couple engines for some future projects, the Magnusun Blown LS is currently my favorite, at least until the second nailhead shows up *NM*
