AMT is doing a new Bronco. they did the new Charger - what other modern vehicle would you like to see?
The latest Corvette in plastic *NM*
Isn't Revell Germany planning that one? *NM*
Yep *NM* *PIC*
Thanks for posting that. I knew I had read it somewhere. *NM*
You are welcome. Hopefully it won't take 3+ years like the 71 Mustang we are still waiting on LOL *NM*
It has been a long wait. Anyone heard when they're supposed to be available? *NM*
C8R - Grrrrrr! *NM*
Yes :-) I wonder how well the Revell C7R sold? I know I bought one. *NM*
Must be fairly popular, I see plenty of the C7Rs on the shelves *NM*
1/24 scale….ugh! *NM*
I actually mix 1/25 and 1/24 parts on models all the time. I build all kinds of models so scale really doesn't matter if it's something I want to build. But I get it. :-) *NM*
If you are really hung up on scale, don't take a ruler to anything...
I've always heard the JoHan '60s Caddys were underscale. I recently aquired a '63 and checked the wheelbase, width and overall length. Scales out to about 1/25. *NM*
'61-'62 look funky to me (roof looks extremely large) but I will say I never measured one *NM*
I don't know if this would count as "modern" (it's been like 5 years since they discontinued making them), but I'd love a kit of the final iteration of the Volkswagen Beetle! *NM*
X2!!!!! *NM*
That's still fairly new. :-) *NM*
Modern ??Pontiac?? would this count? *PICS*
Looks modern to me - it counts :-) Is that a production car or a concept? Not that it matters. *NM*
Pontiac as been gone for 14 years! That thing is just a fake "Pontiac" some clowns made/make from a Camaro. *NM*
How could that be any worse than some of the Barris stuff that was made into model kits? *NM* *PIC*
Excellent valid point, include most Tom Daniels stuff also. *NM*
I agree, it's not quite as bad as the Barris stuff. I know I did not, and will not , buy any of them! *NM*
No worries :-) We all build different things :-) *NM*
There is no more Pontiac; it ended 2010 or 2011 (some would say 1981) *NM*
‘81 for the drivetrains. They went to corporate Chevy engines after that, but the body designs were still mostly Pontiac on the cars *NM*
I like it - and think it would be a good seller
Challenger! *NM*
Definitely. It's strange it hasn't been done yet. I mean - muscle cars always sell don't they? *NM*
This is totally out of my comfort zone, but I always dig seeing these on the road and in action. *PIC*
Also, I obviously lack knowledge of trucks. From the Peterbilt site, here's a 367. *NM* *PIC*
Here's a 567. *NM* *PIC*
My fav - a 389X. *NM* *PIC*
I think the last 100% all new truck kits were the Moebius Internationals? So we are due for a new truck :-) *NM*
Alpine A110 San Remo 73 *NM*
Hmm sporty -- I had to look that one up :-) *NM*
2nd pick would be a Polestar 1. *NM*
OH YES INDEED! Nice looking hybrid. *PIC*
I had to go look this one up. I kind of like it. *PIC*
A newer Challenger with full engine detail- Hellcat, Demon, Widebody, etc…a no brainer in my view. *NM*
As far as possible sales appeal - I think that would be at least in the top 5 on a list. *NM*
Speaking of new kits - here is a story that may interest some of you :-) *PIC*

As you will probably recall... Some here have participated (unintentionally) in just such a program with some of the resin casters - ordered, paid, sometimes received emails with promises, and finally (in some cases, anyway) after over a year or so received the product. ;^) *NM*
2018-23 Mustang GT 5.0 *NM*
I would agree with that one. :-) *NM*
Revell did make a 2018 Mustang GT as a snap kit. *NM*
The 2018 is a lego type model. But the 2015 yellow and red one lend themselves to mods better --- > *PIC*
I can't think of any modern cars that I'd want a model of. *NM*
Basically agree with you, that's why I had to really think to come up with the 2 that I did. Personally would like to see more brass era, but figure the few that ICM did will be the only ones we get. *NM*
Agree! *NM*
It ain’t modern, but I’d like to see a 1/25 scale plastic ‘98-‘12 Crown Vic police. *NM*
Yes!! That is when they changed over to the Mercury style roof. If that were kitted I would then like to see a resin conversion kit to the 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis 4 door. That is the last car my dad had before he passed away. The grille, taillights and interior would
Forgot to say *6 PICS* in my post above, police and civilian Ford Crown Vic and Mercury Grand Marquis for comparisons. *NM*
The last couple of cars my dad had were Grand Marquis, not sure of the years. Drove them a lot when I was back in Oklahoma visiting. Good car for those long county roads. *NM*
I dunno... a new Civic Type R? *NM*
Sure. Fujimi does some Type R models but I don't know what years they are - the boxes don't say *NM* *PIC*
I think that's an early 2000s model. I was thinking current or last generation. Truthfully, I'm struggling to think of a newer car that hasn't already been done that I'm interested in. Not that many cars left on the market as they've gone mostly to SUVs and pickups... *NM*
Just goes to show you how boring 98% of today's cars are! *NM*
Sadly, I have to agree. *NM*
