Very nice Scott even with the suicide wheel covers! LOL! I love 66's, but if you ever worked on a real one back in the day those covers were heaviest ever! Most had lost at least one and if it came off at speed it would wipe out small car! Looks great sir! *NM*
I think it looks pretty good myself - -->
Scott, pardon my ignorance. Which kit is this? *NM*
Ex-Lindberg, now AMT '66 *NM*
I bought and built the kit from Lindberg. AMT has the tooling now. Look for one from AMT. I THINK that are are just a tad cheaper because I think that they are more readily available. *NM*
Spotlight has both -
I know what you mean about the decals. I got my Lindberg kit dirt cheap.....that's why I went with that one. The decals crumbled when I tried to use them. I had to buy a decal sheet from the AMT issue off of eBay to get better quality. *NM*
Scott, I learned a loooong time ago, there's is no such thing as "perfection". I like the word "satisfied". My opinion. *NM*
Nice job! Clean and neat! *NM*
Looks Showroom Fine to me. If I were to suggest anything..I might go with a little panel liner on the doors, and vent lines near windshield. *NM*
That finish looks great, just like a '60's finish should in the days before 3 step clear coats. *NM*
Looks so real. Great job on the detailing. *NM*
Smooth deep paint! *NM*
Your builds are always so neat and clean. Really liking that paint job. What color are you thinking about for your next one? *NM*
Very Nice 66 Scott! *NM*
Had a buddy back in the day that had a new 1:1 of those. His was also red. Nice machine. You have done it justice. Thanks for the memory jolt. ;^) *NM*
