There might very well be a version with an engine in the next few months.
Just because the first release does not have an engine, does not mean it will 'never' have an engine.
Give the folks at Round2 some credit. They know their market, and even as a curbside, this kit is the first good Stock GTO of this year model in a good long time.
And, as this thread has shown, the Early Adopters, are already coming up with workarounds to the engine question.

I'd council a little patience on this kit. Get back to me in 6 months, and I suspect that the situation will have changed.
