Aluminum rods, or bar stock. They come in 3/32", 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", etc... Only problem is that they are usually hard to bend, due to being hardened. They can be made softer by annealing.

You can (sort of) anneal most aluminum in your home oven. Put it on the hottest temperature (although 750°F is perfect). Let it cook for about an hour. Turn the oven off and let it cool down, closed, to room temperature. The rods should be softer and easier to bend. Slower cooling , by gradually reducing the temperature, might give better results.
