    • I've not seen it in a diameter large enough for this application. Where did you see it, please? *NM*
      • Aluminum rods, or bar stock. They come in 3/32", 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", etc... Only problem is that they are usually hard to bend, due to being hardened. They can be made softer by annealing.

  • Use solid solder. The rosin (core) will leak out eventually making quite a mess. *NM*
  • 1/16" would be good for 1.5" pipes, 3/32" would be close for 2 3/8" pipes, 1/8" would be about 3 1/8". You probably won't find any other 'tween sizes. Even 3/32" could be tough to find. *NM*
