Friday Evening Randomness..... ENJOY!!!! *PICS*
Great shots, Thanks :) *NM*
Heck ya!! Ugly '49 Merc, though! To me anyhow. *NM*
Boomer, you got that right....lol.......still thats what happened to Mercs from the late 50's thru to the 80's......lol....hard to beat the Barris/Alaya builds from the early-mid 50's. *NM*
Knew a "kid" in Glendale, Cal. back in '58, had a '51 Merc, and he wanted a "stock" '57 Cadillac engine put in. Got it done, as he was the "only" rich kid at home! Oh, and it was Candy Apple red! Funny, i can remember stuff like that, and forgot what I had for lunch,
Didn't know any of the Mikrus escaped to the US. Is it still the 2 cycle engine that made a Trabant or an old chain saw look like clean burners? *NM*
Boy I like that black 55 *NM*
I would like to see this kitted! *NM* *PIC*
Me too! *NM*
Thanks for the pics Marty. I must say though, "Hemirhoid" is a terrible name to put on a race car. Or anything else for that matter. *NM*
Scott.....I thought it was great, a name that you can have on the tip of your finger.......no?..........I'll go sit in my corner now......lol. *NM*
Great pics Marty! That Burgundy 48 Nash looks as fancy as a Lincoln from that period. *NM*
That metalflaked '56 Belair is wickedly kool! 4-door hardtop that appears to have had the rear doors welded shut. *NM*
Nope, my bad; looked at it again, and they're not welded shut. Still an awesome car though. *NM*
Thanks Marty!! *NM*
Marty you out did yourself tonight. A lot of awesome pics and future builds. *NM*
Has there been any restoration work on the '47 Dodge inspection car at the Illinois Railway Museum? (Also, I'm currently working on a similar one in 1:43 scale, based on a diecast Chrysler.) *NM*
No idea, as I have not been back there since 2017, when I took that pic. *NM*
