There used t be a Canadian-sourced automotive show on PBS in the '90s, in which one of the two hosts ALWAYS pronounced Camaro as 'Cammer-o'.

Temporarily forgot the name of the show (was it 'Traffic Light'?), but it was underwritten by...BMW!
Consequently, they usually rated the test vehicles against...BMWs. For example, one episode I watched featured tests of a Saab 9-3 Turbo, and a Camaro V6 convertible. The Saab was compared to a 330i, and the 'Cammer-o' was compared to a 325i Convertible...
Show didn't last long...either that, or the loocal PBS affiliate didn't buy the show past its debut season. Now 'MotorWeek' on the other hand...
