Those are kool ! Is the model kit you linked to - is that the AMT version or is that the Lindberg one in an AMT box? Not sure. *NM*
I think you're confused, that tooling has always been the AMT tooling, it was just owned by Lindberg for awhile.
Thanks :-) I built the Lindberg long ago and I seem to remember it had thick plastic axles. I didn't like those. I never had the AMT one to compare. *NM*
Bruce, the Lindberg release of the AMT '34 tool did have plastic (thin) axle inserts but the tool has always been designed for a steel axle insert like most all early AMT kits. Some of the original AMT kit parts were omitted from the Lindberg releases....more inside
