I only see one problem with it. Mopars do not have separate front frame rails. Except for the k-member, all that flat black stuff on the front of the the chassis would be body color or primer with overspray. I only mention it because you said you're using it for reference. *NM* *PIC*

It's always interesting how different companies did things. 1960s Mustangs also didn't have separate front frame rails, but a lot of that area was still painted black.
They could have just as easily painted it all body color like Mopar did. They were constructed the same way, a unibody. Not sure why Ford chose to paint their engine compartments black. *NM*
The universal black was cheaper... and certain parts needed some blackout anyway *NM*
