Depends, you can spray colour coats followed by clear coats, OR you can wait 2 days after colour and sand then clear. Dehydrator cuts the dry time way down. Airbrushing also let's you do light coats of colour every 10 minutes followed by clear. I always do that then after 2

TamiyaUSA site said to recoat within 1/2 hour or wait 1 week. I've been following the former for 20+years (clears included) with no problems other than "user error" which occurs all too frequently. *NM*
