One thing I found about Tamiya acrylics is that Windex will remove it even when dry. I assume it is the ammonia that is the active chemical here....

I often use Windex with a water rinse to clean parts as I am working with them, so I found this the hard way. This may be useful if you wish to remove the paint.

- I have not used it, but Tamiya does make a retarder (87114) which I assume is designed for their acrylic paints? *NM*

- Well, Bill, it's not "common," but their X-20A acrylic paint thinner has worked for me. *NM*
