Yes, this custom is based on the Revell 1948 Ford. When designing customs, I tend to take styling cues from various sources, past or present, sometimes even unintentionally, to come up with a design of my own. I think my 1948 Ford was already finished when I saw the first photos of the Efigy – it is a beautiful design, no denying that. Given the fact that my Ford was designed well before the Efigy was presented it is not likely I have taken any spesific styling ideas from it. I admit being interested in Australian cars, though. I even built a Cavalier Holden Monaro kit several years ago. Thanks for helping me to find those Australian resin kits, Andy!
