Ditto. Threw out all the Testors cans, leaked goo all over my shelf. No more Testors for me.

I wish I knew why a half full rattle can just stops spraying.
Tell me about it... I just lost about $50. worth of model paint... They emptied themselves in the storage box I had them in. Just a thick varnish like goo in the bottom of the box around about 8 spray cans... They were nice colors too. *NM*

Pics in above. *NM*
Mine were all Testors too... *NM*
Did you send a copy of that pic to Testors? *NM*
No. I'm sure they've heard it all before. *NM*
Exactly! Paint models with paint made for models! I used only Tamiya spray cans for years, now I'm strickly airbrushing acrylics and acrylic lacquers. *NM*
Testors and Rustoleum are coming from the same place. Quality is not very important to them, obviously. I have not bought a Testors spray can for 10 years. Jar paint still seems good though, but we have lost so many colors. *NM*

I got about 30 seconds of spray from a recent Dupli-color can......$10 in the trash..... *NM*
If it has been sitting for a long time, it must be shaken thoroughly...
Apart from Marks info & tips I also place a can in a 1/2 cup of hot water, not boiling but hot, remove & shake again, replace hot water leave can in for a few minutes, remove can & label, also wipe can of any water & shake every couple of passes,no guarantee but helps, lol. *NM*
Funny how it does not seem to happen to Tamiya spray cans. At least not here. *NM*
Ditto again. Have never had it happen. *NM*
3X
Spraying them into a paper funnel and catching it in a small jar works just as well. Well, maybe you'll smell more fumes, but since when do we care? *NM*
More waste paint - if you have a good color that you are trying to conserve *NM*
