If I spray Testors Dull Cote on tires, will it dry?? Thanks. *NM*
I wouldn't bet on it. Even if it did, it would likely crack over time. I'd go with an acrylic clear instead *NM*
Acrylic will more likely crack. One thin, thin, mist coat is all you need with the Dullcote. And don't handle them too much, or try to stretch them over wheels. *NM*
Switched to acrylic clear flat a couple of years ago. No cracks yet... *NM*
I've done it. Multiple mist coats. *NM*
I have found that if the tires have a somewhat dulled finish, like after a vigorous scrubbing with kitchen cleanser and an old toothbrush, Dullcote will air dry 90% of the time. A food dehydrator will take that to 100%. *NM*
I've uses Testors dull coat and Krlon matte clear both successfully on tires. *NM*
