I agree, Marck C. You've said it better than I could have. *NM*

I had contemplated getting one, until I saw the struggles (and elevated prices) involved. For me it's not a "must have" and my life won't suffer if I don't have one... there are so many other kits competing for my money that I can skip this one effortlessly. *NM*

Matt&Dawn, or anyone in the know, I keep missing the Salvinos JR modified kits. Is there another one coming out soon? *NM*
There are more coming (we don't know when). Supply is limited, we get what we can. They sell out quickly. All new kits are posted at the top of the home page when they come in. *NM*
They are going for stupid prices on those auction sites. The guy that manufactures these has severly limited supply. I guess they want to see how high they can get the prices. Don't pay it. Wait until they come in here. Its a nice kit, but certainly not woth the prices some
There's a second version coming out they may be making those now. They are made in the usa
On Other boards, I have read that there will eventually be 5 (or 8) versions of the kit. But limited to 1500 copies per version.
I do not like it either.....but it's 'Free Enterprise' way......
I hope the aftermarket decal guys get their gears engaged. There a dozens of these cars in the Northeast. Of course somebody will want "licensing fees" which will kill the whole deal.
Salvino got here from doing "sports collectibles"; they seem to be using that business model with the kits. I'm guessing they will eventually offer this kit without decals, in more readily available numbers *NM*
It can be a tug of war on the shelf - do they make more money selling the blank kit (and pocketing the licenses) or do the brand names sell for a higher price (and absorb the extra cost?) *NM*

Most model companies have limited edition kits. It's fairly common. *NM*
