History does repeat itself. *NM*
Your story and Ed's are very cool. Thanks. Can you remind us again what your career was in?? Wasn't it in law enforcement? *NM*
The first one, yes. After I retired I went back and got my masters and worked as a counselor for inmates and street people for 15 years. Now I'm completely retired. *NM*
Counselor for inmates, you say. Could've been one during my 25 years in the Ill.Dept. of Corrections. Didn't want to "take my work home". So, I "stayed in the trenches". Oh, and I was a firearms instructor for 17 years. *NM*
And I'll say it again........Thanks for the Hot Rod Model Kits Book, its a joy to read again & again....great pic BTW..thanks. *NM*
Ed Glaser was a very popular guy...he even appeared with Groucho Marx on 'You Bet Your Life'... *NM*
I took an art class in college, years ago. The teacher was a big Ed Roth and Rat Fink fan, and thought his art was great. *NM*
You're a pretty good artist! *NM*
Thank you, Charlie. When I was a kid I wanted to be a cartoonist. *NM*
Great story! :-) *NM*
Hmmm...went to the new So-Cal Speed Shop store in WACO, TEXAS this weekend! They have a couple of Rat Fink shirts to sell, amongst the Moon, Clay Smith Cams, So-Cal, and Gulf Racing stuff in stock.
I kinda like the merch that imitates the So-Cal lay out that says "So What' instead. Fairly popular in socal. *NM*
Thanks for posting that interesting article about and by "Big Daddy". Quite a character! *NM*
