His technique for these fiddly old ex-Revell kits is to strip everything for de-flashing, get it built up as a sub-assembly and sitting properly, then to shoot with a chrome finish once all handling but the final install is complete.

Much cleaner that way, and his builds are box art quality or better.

I can see it would be disappointing not to have Chrome in the box, but there is a good alternative worth trying.
