The other price problem with, say, the new Mustang, new Nissan Z, etc. will be the $10 to $20 thousand "additional dealer markup." *NM*

Full coverage (180 pix) of press days at the 2022 NAIAS (Detroit Auto Show....including lotsa 2024 Mustang pictures....and the new Dodge Charger, Buick Wildcat, and Lincoln Star and L100 concepts.....and lotsa Broncos....and....well you just gotta look for yourself.! *LINK* *PIC*
I rather like the Buick Wildcat concept.... I'm assuming it is an EV? *NM*
Marty, I presume it is an EV too. I was surprised by the Wildcat. I was not impressed with it in photos, but it has a very compelling presence in real life. Not a GM fan here, but gotta offer them some kudos on this one....TIM *NM*
I think I just read that the Buick will be made for China only (if they do actually make it). *NM*
That's one of the coolest new cars I've seen in quite awhile. I don't even mind the wheels. *NM*
Except, I wouldn't want to clean them. *NM*
I hope we get a full build kit of that new Mustang and it's variants. Also that first Lincoln's interior reminds me of the bridge of the Starship Enterprise! *NM*
Tim, what is this car...I can't make it out, but It's pretty cool as well. *NM* *PIC*
Jim it's a Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Electric Muscle Car. Supposely coming in 2024 or so. *NM*
Bill is exactly correct. It's a concept but probably very representative of Stellantis' replacement for the current Charger (of course, and sadly, it will probably be a four door only...) TB *NM*
For those who want to go down memory lane..... *NM* *LINK* *PIC*
Great pictures! But I'm still trying to figure out why the 2024 Mustang looks almost exactly like a 2022 Camaro. Weird. *NM*
Bill, I've read other similar online comments, but for me watching the live reveal and studying the cars in person the following day, "Camaro" never even entered my mind. Hmmm.....ing Iotta tell yaI *NM*
Ditto on the Camaro comments. I didn't see it. (Maybe I'm closed-minded since I have a Mustang.) I was mainly glad Ford didn't do anything stupid with the styling. *NM*
It's got almost the exact same body lines, especially in a side-view. Almosr looks as if they are trying to make both cars fit the same NASCAR template or something! :-) *NM*
They’re trying to appeal to all the Camaro fans who will have no car to buy after 2023. *NM*
Some wild stuff........... *NM*
Thanks Tim!!!!! A few notes......

Pretty much knew I was done with new cars when.....
Ford notified their franchise dealers that it will NOT tolerate window sticker "markups" any more. Ford threatened the loss of the franchise in severe cases...
Hope it has some effect. *NM*
It won’t. It’s all posturing with no real bite/punishment to it. *NM*
There are workarounds...make every car on the lot a "demo", putting miles on it makes it a "used car" and makes those rules tough to enforce...
The harder you work to stamp something out, the more creative the rule benders can get
Some of these characters are going to stick as many people as possible one more time, then cash out *NM*
There will be a significant turn over wave sooner rather than later
Making me March to a mega lot doesn't exactly make me want to buy. *NM*
I rarely look at new cars
