• I finally figured out what is wrong with the Revell SS wheels, they are molded without the trim rings installed. A set of these from the AMT 69/70 Chevelle kit looks much better. They are the ones I'm using on the Revell 69 Chevelle.
  • The earliest wheels were chromed and didn't have trim rings. Most, if not all, of the ones with trim rings were painted *NM*
    • Or both. The ones I had on my Nova were from an Olds 442 and had chrome spokes with painted rim with trim ring. *NM*
  • I still prefer the Revell. The AMT ones spokes are bowed up or have a hump in them that I don't care for. *NM*
